what are the minimum points required for EE..........?

My understanding is that the list of 50 NOCs will not be used. However, I notice some of you still talk about NOC codes. Am I missing something? How many codes will we be allowed to add as I notice my experiences fall under 3 NOC codes?

No minimum points required. However, as you will be competing with others, you want to have high points.

I guess you are not looking at right place. To sail thru EE, you would still need to qualify in one of the programs

FSWP
FSTP
and CEC

You will still need to meet the requirements each of the program has and then only you will be eligible for EE.

Express Entry is a new way of managing applications in a number of existing economic immigration programs:

Federal Skilled Worker Program,
Federal Skilled Trades Program, and
Canadian Experience Class.

Provinces and territories will also be able to recruit candidates from the Express Entry pool for a portion of the Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) in order to meet local labour market needs.

Through Express Entry, people who meet the criteria for one of these programs will be placed into a pool of candidates. The Government of Canada, provincial and territorial governments, and Canadian employers will be able to select people from this pool.

Guys i do have a querry...my lmia for both work permit and immigration got approved but i am nt going to apply for work permit as i do have implied status so i cant apply for work permit in New York office .I am planning to apply under express entry so it make any difference to my PR application if i will nt apply for work permit?

You must meet minimum language levels and include the results of a language test from an agency approved by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) when you apply that shows you meet the minimum language requirement of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7.

Yea, people still atlk about the NOC codes because it shows the various occupations in the Canadian job market and when you quote your NOC CIC immediately knows what occupation you fall under. We really dont know how many codes you may be required to name till the complete guidelines come out in january. Just keep calm and believe. :
