This waiting is getting on my nerves. We are very close to the finishing line. Most of the March guys are done with, so I believe our time is just around the corner. Next week will seal it!

Oh I sure hope so. Maybe they're fixing the generic PPR message and instead sending ones that direct applicants to their home country.

Good morning guys! A new week, 5th week after our ECAS went into 'In Process'. Let's pray for our files to be taken up by CIC this week. ::)

I hope we get PPR before DM on ECAS. Heard horror stories from people getting DM on ECAS but waiting for PPR for ever. I will definitely shit bricks in such a scenario.

Agreed. Positive Decision Made on ECAS should be after you've received the PPR and your passport has been stamped. On the other hand Decision Made on ECAS without receiving PPR is almost always bad news.

Did you guys noticed the changes made to the CIC eCAS link??? They now tell you which applications they are currently working on and that eCAS are updated every Tuesday!

According to this link, they are currently Working on applications received up to April 20, 2015!!

This is a better a great improvement that will help us track our app more accurately.

here are the links!

There not telling anything about EE applications. The April 20 date is for PR card renewal etc.

It is for new PR's too, but I agree, it is not specifically for EE app. But the eCAS updates on Tuesday seem like something new, right?
At least it looks like they are improving their systems, which is promising at least!

Also, chew on this -

All such cases of DM on ECAS before PPR have had their ECAS move to DM straight from "Application Received" without going to "In Process". All PPRs from ECAS "In Process" had PPR first before their ECAS changed to DM.

Which means we are safe :)
