Asivad, that's how it was in the old system. I'm a part of a Whatsapp group for FSWP applicants but most applied last year and they got PPR weeks after third line update. A couple even got PPR before the third line update. CIC is completely unpredictable.

Feb 25: Created profile
Mar 20: ITA for PNP
Apr 23: Submitted application and received AOR pretty much right away
June 3: Medical Passed
June 3: CIC requested updated PNP forms which I sent the same day

Finally an update in mycic account - Background check 'In Progress'!

My timeline is as follows:

MyCIC
ITA: March 20th (FSW - no LMIA, we were eligible for both CEC and FSW)
Application submitted: April 11th
AOR: April 13th
Document (CELPIP) request: April 14th --- Submitted April 14th
Medical Passed: April 24th
Background Check: In Progress - June 3rd

ECAS (Application Received)
1. We received your application for permanent residence on January 12, 2015.
2. Medical results have been received.

No changes in ECAS though.

Today makes two weeks since my ECAS changed to Application Received and the third line added (Medical Results have been received).

This waiting game is not for the faint of heart.

I'm entering my 5th week with the same status! And the only consolations so far have been that (a) No news is usually good news with CIC and (b) There are others who waited far longer (from early Feb) and got their PPRs in late May.

Sweet be the fruits of patience...

Will there be an email notification if ECAS changed from APPLICATION RECEIVED to IN PROCESS?

When it changed to in process, it is 100% that you will receive PPR soon?

No there will be no email update

Yes the pattern is that people does get PPR after that...was it changed for you ?

Same timeline, got ita on 27th March and AOR on Mar 31. My medical passed and Background check changed to in progress on May 1 st. No updates since, still waiting and keep checking my account everyday.

You are doing better than so many people who got ITA on the 27th of march. I have bo updates what so ever, as if my application lost it's way somewhere. I keep telling my self that since I applied in April , i might see an update end of June. But earlier today I noticed that some people were waiting for almost 4 months !!!! - totally destroyed my day. this is so stressful specially when you don't know that they have confirmed the completion of your application, and it's eligibility.

Wish me Luck, I haop you see your PPR soon.
