Hello, my GCMS notes showed that my Primary VO is Montreal and Secondary VO is Centralized intake office. So which office is the one that will process my application and issue copr?
Thank you for your reply.

Applications can be processed at any visa officer across the IRCC network. However, the primary visa office remains the same where as the secondary visa offices will change as files get transferred.

Usually it is the primary VO that will be responsible for issuing your the CORP if you are outside Canada.

See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...s-manuals/service-delivery/file-transfer.html

Dear @legalfalcon, please advise what can be a reason for Eligibility not started after 5 months since AOR? I am EE PNP inland no dependants. I can see everyone’s eligibility passed by this timeframe but my file has zero progress after R10. Panicking!!

There is nothing to be concerned. Some files do get a little delayed. Just wait for some time and send a webform.

@legalfalcon Do you know any email address one can reach CIO on? Or, is it best to just raise webform for everything?

Also, primary office is CIO while secondary is Ottawa. For someone that wants to update his new passport on his application, is it best to send to CIO or Ottawa or both?

To read IRCC, you will have to send a webform. You should not send emails to individual offices since applications are routinely transferred. When you send a webform, wherever your application is, it will be sent there.

Dear @legalfalcon , I just ordered my GCMS notes at https://www.getgcms.com/. After payment and submitting the user form, I receive an email with instructions to sign and submit the consent form. However, there are no instructions or option to select where to request the gcms notes from IRCC or CBSA. I would prefer to have the request sent to CBSA because of quicker processing time, but I didn't see any option to select this, nor any instructions in the email subsequent to placing my order at getgcms.com ... Did I miss something?

CBSA no longer has quicker processing time. Currently CBSA is seeking extension unto 120 days due to sheer volume of requests that were filed with CBSA. This is why the option to select may have been removed.

response from CBSA:

We are, in fact, receiving a larger number of requests which exceeds our ability to process requests within the usual timeframe. We are now having to extend request by an average of 120 days.

On the contrary, IRCC is no longer seeking extensions and most GCMS notes are being released within 30 -35 days.

For any specific enquiries to your order, contact GET GCMS directly.

Processing offices should notify the Immigration Program Guidance Branch (IPG) (formerly Operational Management Branch [OMC]) if they observe trends of concern or trends that could serve to inform policy and procedures related to Express Entry [e.g., observations about the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) or the application triage criteria]. Anyone who has a trend to report should send a description of the trend to IPG, who will share the information with the appropriate leads within Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

If your application falls under any policy consideration or new rules, it is triaged.

Hi @legalfalcon sir,

I am trying to apply GCMS notes for my friend who is residing outside Canada. What proof should I submit for me that I'm living in Canada because I have only my COPR document and have not received my PR card. Please help. Thank you, sir.

@legalfalcon is it normal? Is there anything that I need to be worried about?

Nothing to be concerned about. If your application falls under a policy, then this is normal Policy here includes age change post ITA, etc.

Just a copy of your COPR will suffice.
