Hi

Can anyone help with this please. I ordered GCMS notes and received on 9th March 2017 and 3rd May 2017 (the notes received on the 9th of March were generated on the 21st of February while the one received on the 3rd of May were generated on the 4th of April). Both notes show eligibility and medicals as passed but criminal and security show as 'not started'. In the notes, I noticed information has been shared with the US and status shows as 'NRT'. I have sent emails to the visa office processing my application and got replies on the 24th of March 2017 and 2nd of May 2017 that my file is with an officer for review. I would like to know if:

1) Security and criminal checks could have been started or completed without them being updated on the GCMS notes NO

2) Can the review in the reply I received from the visa office be the final review before PPR? USUALLY not. If your application is finalized, the response is usually that the application is finalized and under review.

3) In the notes, due date under application assignment is 30th March 2017. Do you have any idea what this means? It has no bearing on the application. It usually is an auto-generated email. Many applicants have seen that the application is processed much before the due date and this date has no significance.

Did you submit all form as requested. Because I do not think that if you educational institution appears in the list you should have issues. Also, send a CSE to IRCC and see what they say.

Yes, I did. I double checked with the information on my GCMS notes, everything including spelling and DLI number was entered correctly

Immediately send a CSE and ask for clarification.

Yes, any personal information that you sent to IRCC can be obtained through the Access to Information Act. Make sure you have the file number, which starts with E00000000

This does show that your security has been updated, this could mean that your file has been sent to CSIS, or they have received it from CSIS and updated your file.
To know the exact status of security, see page 2 under assessment, what does that say?

Everything is empty in page number 2 under assessment but due date was May 7.
and last updated was on February 10,2017.

Hi Legal Falcon,

Can you please help me interpret my gcms notes? Trying to post only relevant info.
I ordered the notes about 55 days after AOR until then I had seen no change in the application. Then after a few days of ordering GCMS notes my Medical became passed and after a further few more days BGC changed to Not applicable from Next step is to conduct background check.

There is not much significance of due date, as mots application are processed way before that. I believe that the due date is system generated and has no relevance.

This note shows that your R10 was cleared on Jan 8, also your ECA was verified.

This note is your A11.2 eligibility. Your eligibility has been recommended passed by the case analyst. Now the file will go to an agent who will approve it. Depending on your LVO, your file might now be moved to LVO. The eligibility "recommended passed" should also be reflected on page 2 under "Assessment."

As per this note, your file has been transferred to LVO Paris, and the IRCC is looking to verify a few things which are country specific, and will be done by the LVO. This could be just to verify your work experience or the authenticity of the employer or police clearance etc.

Your application is progressing well. Order another set of GCMS and you should see more progress.

Thank you so much Legal Falcon. In page 2 Assesment, Eligibility is not started . I raised a CSE with an updated bank statement showing more than the required amount of money.
My AOR is 25 Dec and file was transferred 07 March. I get this notes last week. What do you think?

This is where GCMS notes help, in figuring out what is going on. So if your took corrective action, that is fine and it will be updated. Did you get an acknowledgement to your CSE?
