As per your notes, you have cleared eligibility and your security is in progress. There will be 4 "Security" sub-activities before the security is cleared. Unless you see "security screening," you are not in enhanced security.

I don't see any concerns in your notes and it is just a matter of time before your application is approved.
Sounds good, thanks, when would you recommend to ask for another notes? a month? 2? 3?

Hi @legalfalcon

I finally received by GCMS notes this morning (after waiting 64 days). I am 6 months since my AOR and in my notes I have the following:

ASSESSMENTS:
Eligibility: Review Required
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete.
Other Reqs:
Final:

The last detailed note says: "RECOMMENDATION *** Review Required by an Officer PNP triage: Refer to IR"

Is this normal? I assume the PNP nomination needs to be confirmed etc

I won't say this is normal, but there is nothing to be concerned yet. The eligibility review takes places in different stages and if the program analyst has any concerns then the analyst will defer the matter to the immigration officer. Since its just a line, so nothing much can be interpreted, but this definitely pertains to your PNP nomination and verification.

Read the note and make sure that your CRS score is correct and all other documents you submitted have been accounted for. Apart from that in your next set of notes, your eligibility should be passed.

Can't say more with the limited info you provided.

Since your eligibility is passed, your GCMS notes won't have any changes except the sub activities. So GCMS notes at this stage won't help. But you are free to request if you want to track your security.

Alternatively, you can request CBSA notes, and they show security without retracting. But you don't require them unless you are in security screening.

Hi Legalfalcon,

Please advise, in my last notes it is said: Med reassessment requested for PA via Ottawa. New meds required for Dep , no action taken to issue new meds.
and next day it was reassessed for PA via Ottawa.

Should my dependent take again meds or should we just wait for the request from the IRCC?
Have you received any letter for a new med. If not, no need to take them.

Hi LegalFalcon,

Thank you so much, you have been clarifying so many members questions.

I am FSW-O from India. My AoR is December 13, 2017. I have no travel history outside of India. I worked (work ex) with 2 different companies and currently with 3rd one. My spouse too has no travel history outside India.

I mailed to CPC Ottawa in two separate occasions.

First time, they replied:
"The standard processing and assessments are still being done on your application. Medical and Criminality are complete."

Second time, when I asked for status, they replied:
"Stand processing continues on your application and it remains with us at CPC-Ottawa. Info Sharing is complete and the other assessments are still in progress. There is no way to predict when it will be ready for finalization. No documents are currently required from you. "

So it seems, medical, criminality and info sharing is complete on my account.

Can you please help me understand how much more time can it take before the application is finalized? How many more other processes are to be completed?
The 6 months processing time starts from the day when the R10 is passed. I would not be concerned at this stage. You have to be patient.

The main stage is eligibility. To know if you have passed it, you can order GCMS notes or wait it out.

I just ordered the papers for my wife who got her PR eligibility letter on Nov 30th and we have had nothing since. Does anyone know usually how long it will take to get approval after the eligibility letter? She applied through the old live in caregiver pathway. Her timeline is in my signature. @legalfalcon

The timelines differ and vary from application to application. Usually after the eligibility letter, it should not take long, just 1-3 months.

Hello everyone.

I have posted my concern to various threads on this website.
But not a single response from anyone. Can someone please let know if you have any inputs...

I applied for EE on 29 June 2017. After 6 months of waiting without any updates ( except medical clearance) that ended on 30 Dec 2017, I applied for GCMS on 9 January 2018. I received GCMS reply on 7 Feb which says Passed in all the criteria and final status is Approved.

ASSESSMENTS:
Eligibility: Passed
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete.
Other Reqs:
Final: APPROVED

GCMS Notes:
The latest Note no 1. Date 30.11.2017...Says ....2nd RFV letter sent via email. Last Reminder to comply within 30 days.

Note no 2. Dated 06.09.2017 Says...
New Delhi RFV letter sent via email. Print queue and secondary office changed to New Delhi.

I have not received any communication via email from Cic on this...

It's been over 5 months since RFV sent to secondary office and over 2 months since reminder to comply.

Hence I applied thru webform at Ottawa and Delhi and now awaiting revert which might take 10 days.
Also in the CGMS Notes, it clearly shows the information to be printed on the VISA (like VISA Validity Date, Name and Code, information about type of Visa etc).

Has anyone been in this situation?
Current status on my Cic account is... Application in Progress.

I thank you in advance for your time.

Regards
Diwakar

Can you please share your experience in my situation?
How long does it take now a days for visa processing?
What wud be my next step?
Getting very anxious now as visa validity date 17.04.2018 as per GCMS is approaching...
Whether my visa will be cancelled if gone beyond this date?

Thanks,
Diwakar

Hi guys,

Can anyone help me understanding my gcms notes.

AOR: 22 June 2017
IP2: 14 August 2017

I received gcms notes couple of days ago, my assessment result states

Eligibility - passed
security - (blank)
crimanilty - passed
HIRV- (blank)
medical - passed
misrepresention (blank)
Other req -(blank)
Final - Approved.

What does that mean? And if it’s approved why have not they sent PPR request yet. What should I do?? Should I contact CIC?? Or should I mail them? Or should I wait??
Hello @pallavigautam
Did u get the Visa yet? If yes, when?
My case is in same situation as yours.
I m awaiting for visa since past 5 months on approved application. I have posted details of my application in this thread on page 66-67.
