Hi @legalfalcon @caipsnotes

Hope you are doing awesome. I called IRCC today via a virtual number ( You said to wait it out and be patient but I couldn't).

This is what I got:
AOR: July 23, 2020 (Outland, PNP)
Eligibility: Passed
Criminality: In progress
Security: In progress

The agent said everything seems fine for now. She said my criminality and security is in progress and after it is done the officer will then make a decision.

Question: What I don't know is if my eligibility is recommended passed or conclusively passed? The agent told me that my eligibility is passed and once criminality & security is done, the officer will then again check my file and do the needful. Can you please guide?

Question: How long does it take to clear criminality (bio done on Nov 20) and security? and how come my criminality and security is in process at the same time??

Question: Is security the reason I didn't receive my GCMS notes and was asked an extension of 90 days?

Thank you so much!!
Hi. Since your security in in progress it means that Eligibility has been passed by an officer. To read about security see https://bit.ly/3iXMnyw and to read about all the stages of an application in brief visit https://help.gcmsnotes.com/code/aor-to-ppr#stages-of-an-application

Requesting GCMS has no bearing on your application. Some providers are disproportionately receiving 90 day extensions and you may be better of requesting the GCMS from CBSA instead of IRCC. Same process and same cost, only the consent form is different.

Thank you for your response. Under the Security section, there are basically 2 entries, one for my husband and the other for me, followed by almost 1 1/2 page blank section (s15 noted on top right). The notes then proceed to Criminality which shows passed.

Would ordering another GCMS notes so soon show any changes? - lots of people who have recently ordered have posted they got extensions
As you said, the application looks in good shape so I guess just have to wait it out!
You are welcome. It's quite possible that security has passed. Quite honestly wouldn't recommend ordering GCMS, let the process take its course. You have passed Eligibility and that's the most important stage; the rest will fall in place and another copy of the GCMS will not help. It will not help change the pace of processing or the outcome. Best just to wait it out. Raise a web form instead.

About 90 day extensions related to GCMS; those are more prevalent when requested from IRCC. When requested from CBSA it's more likely to arrive on time; same process and same cost.

@legalfalcon looking forward for your advice pls
There are entries based on your documents and what you declared in your profile.

Look at the notes in the last 3-5 pages for how these have been assessed for eligibly.

Dear @legalfalcon ,
my actual query was regarding the meaning of obsolete and received in the status area. pls advice

For the work history you have provided, did you provide a work reference letter. Also, were these work in the last 10 years?

yes @legalfalcon, these are from Sep 2009 - Mar 2011. Also i did submit referece letters, so I am unable to understand meaning of Obsolete and Recieved here.

Also, My concern is When we started our EE profile in 2017,we choose NOC 1211 (assistant accountant) which i later changed to 1311(finance officer). During Noc 1211 i was not the primary applicant but later on I became primary applicant in 2018 as my spouse lost points due to the age factor. so 1st time we submitted the reference lettsr based upon 1211 and then we changed our NOC and resubmitted a new one as 1311. will all this can make an issue? Also, to highlight I changed my NOC from 1211 to 1311 in June 2019 and I got invitation from Alberta after 4 months of changing the NOC.

please advice for both queries.

TIA

Hello. Many outside applicants have successfully used apps like TextNow and others to call IRCC. You will need a Canadian number to call otherwise the call will not go through. There are apps that will provide a free/paid Canadian number.

You have to put things in perspective. When you say you changed the primary applicant, did you create a new profile?

"Obsolete" in most cases refers to not relevant or pertaining to the case. Eg. An accompanying souse's foreign work experience does not get any points and thus even if you submit the documents, then are irrelevant.
