I m nt dude . Its easy to get PR in Canada than to get Nomination In Alberta . Ppl r waiting from year and a half and get nothing yet .. My friend is waiting from November 2013 and waiting and waiting ..

The thing is, my employer is in Alberta and I have been working remotely till now for a year. I will be leaving Ontario in 2-3 months to move to alberta. This has become too tricky for me. Couldn't apply till now, as I didn't have a year of work experience. Should have done that

What's your NOC? AINP is very category specific. They nominate engineering streams in 6 - 8 months. But you can't use AINP nomination for claiming EE 600 points anyway.

my NOC code is 2174 I guess (Software Developer). Why can't I get 600 points using AINP? How much will I get?

Should I ask my employer to apply for LMIA for my job? Will that be quicker and give me more points?

Also Can I combine both of them? (Points from LMIA + points from Nomination)

ALberta stated on AINP website that no Express Entry nominations will be issued in 2015 year.
IT means that nomination holders will be unable to use AINP nominations for getting +600 points. They only can send paper-based package for PR to CIC.
