Folks,

I just received my nomination docs and this is all I have been mailed by AINP:
1) A letter confirming the nomination with an orange label.
2) Confirmation of acceptance
3) PN ackw form
4) PN Status update
5) A sheet with list of job related websites.

I dont have checklists of any sorts, no info on wht the future stages are going to be etc..Did everyone here receive similar docs during the nomination process?

I know some of the docs required for me to submit to the consulate in Buffalo, but can someone point to me a website(?) or previous post (link?) which calls out the comprehensive list of all the docs required to be submitted?

Also, can someone share ballpark expenses one will incur during this process?

Thanks in advance.

-6Sigma

sixsigma, I 've all the documents you mentioned plus the checklist. so you can just print out the checklist. one simple question to seniors. we just check mark on P as a provincial nominee. If there is no square box for P that mean that particular document doesnt apply for provincial nominee?? such as there is no check mark for proof of fund, educational document, work experience. this means we dont have to worry about sending these documents correct?

Exactly, they have classified the whole Buffalo Office Instruction Guide into three categories:

P stands for Provincial Nominee
F stands for Federal skilled worker
Q stands for Qubec class worker

Therefore P category people are NOT required to submit these supporting documents:

Proof of Funds
Work Experience letter
Educational credentials

make sure you send all your h1 visa stamps and at least the most recent I797, even though it is not mentioned

I've some questions regarding PCC and birth certificate.

Today my dad received my home police clerance certificate. he is ready to mail it to me but before that I want to clarify few things with the experts. Sorry it might just be a dumb questions but I would rather ask to conform than make mistake. one of the line on pcc says mr xxx has no adverse record against him/her till date 07/01/04 (mm/dd/yy) thats the day I came to U.S.A and I've never gone back since I came. So my concern is will the date in the pcc be okay?? does it have to be current date? I dont think it can have the current date in my home pcc as I've not been back to my country since i left.
Also my old passport expired and I had to renew my passport. The pcc only mention's about my new passport no. Is that how it should be?
One final questions regarding the birth certificate. In birth certificate my dad's name is spelled different. lets say he used to write 'PRADEEP' before now he goes by 'PRADIP' but in the birth certificate its spelled as PRADEEP. does it have to be rectified or it really doesnt matter. oh yeah... I see in my old passport its written as PRADEEP so i guess it should be all fine right?

Can u folks throw some idea. I'll really appreciate any kind of suggestions regarding this matter.

As long as the issue date on PCC is within 90 days it is GOOD. Mostly names are represented by Family name/last name. If Sharma, Patel, Reddy...and so on is spelled corectly, it is also GOOD.

As for the birth certificate, I have similar situation. My dad and mom changed their name. I did not include their name changes and just submitted the birth certificate as is. So far, everything is okay.

Good luck.

Offcourse the pcc issue date is yesterday 05/17/09 but one of the line in the pcc statement says Mr XXX has no adverse record against him/her till date 07/01/04 which is the day I left my home country. So is that good?

I am not sure, my PCC did not have the "end date" on it. "no adverse record against him/her till date 07/01/04" could mean there might be a record "after" 07/01/04.
I know you've never gone back - I'm just sayin'....

I wouldn't have liked that on my PCC. Can your try and "persuade" the police officer to have the end date removed? If not, go ahead with it.

Find a good and certified fingerprinting agency. Go to nearest Police Station and have them do it.
