Hi Dnataraj,

You have done 12 weeks today wih CIC App , if i am not mistaken you had sent your app on dec 5th . Any success?

I am stuck in India for last two months for my H1B stamping. I had asked my local post office to "Stop Delivering mail" till I am back. So I have no idea whatsoever about CIC status

Dnatraj,

Did u struck, thats becoz of PIMS verification.??

Even i was struck for a week in chennai becoz of this and reached few days back..

Hello everyone,

I have a unique situation here, can anyone help me to clarify if possible.

I got nomination cert on Jan 1st week and applied Police clearance in Indian Consulate NY and after that letft to India for a Family Emergency.. Now its almost two months and my Police clearance is ready. Byt my wife stuck in india for a family emergency and she will not back until July.. The Indian consulate people not allowed to give Police clearance for her without seeing her passport in person. I cant wait till July, since that will go invalid after july.

Is there a way to apply only for me to CIC and apply for family later on? Is there anyone have any suggestions. Please share ur thoughts.

Thanks

Why can't you apply and obtain her police clearance certificate in India as she is there? She can send the PCC to you and you mail it along with other documents.

If you have not obtained her FBI clearance, then it would be a problem. They do not need her passport, but they need her fingerprints and cover letter. I guess she can request these from India too and have them mail to you. You will have everything with you to send the package to CIC without her being here. Just an idea.

chow, thanks for informing....

I think in India when you go for your PCC they ask for your passport and its not legal to send your passport outside of country

Originally CIC recieved my application on Feb 17 2009.

CIC returned my application as my Personal History and Address were not current. This was because I had filled out all the papers when I submitted my application for AINP in November. After I got the Nomination Certificate I sent my CIC application wth required documents to Buffalo.

Please make sure everything is updated and do not leave ANYTHING blank.

I resent my application which they received and cashed my check.

If you read his post again, he said his wife is in India and I assumed that she has her passport with her. If she does not have a passport with her, how is she going to come back? If she has her passport with her, she can go for PCC with it.

Did you move to another address after you sent your documents to the AINP? Did you change your job? For example, I have not changed my job and I have not moved anywhere. I assumed that I will be ok to send my original documents. I wrote "till date" in the box where you need to write end date for current job and current address, so nothing has changed since.

Kishan...

Did you changed your job or address after you sent Alberta application or after receiving nomniation? and did not inform Alberta about it ?

How did CIC found out that your adress / info is not current ?

hello-

when does the medical phase take place? is it after i have sent the PR application to CIC? also, how does one get the request to have medicals done? is it thru post or email?

No nothing had changed, since I had filled everything out when I submitted the AINP application in late 2008, I never updated anything.

Hence they wanted to know what I was doing between then and now.

Their instruction said any gaps of 3 months or more require explanation. I should have updated my application and sent it.

to kishankanhaiya, do you mean you sent the same copies that you sent to AINP (meaning forms were dated late 2008) to CIC? from this experience, if sending something to CIC, we just need to date the forms to current date?
