That means they didn’t select that NOC. The province probably selected NOCs for the list in the link as they are the highest in demand.

Hello,

I have just submitted my AINP AOS application and I'm confused about what happens next, was hoping someone could please help out?

I'm currently working in Alberta on an IEC working visa that expires in 6 months. With the current processing times being six months or more, I'm wondering if I should/am able to apply for a bridging visa, or 204(c) letter of support.

What do I need to apply for these? What happens if I can't apply for either and my visa expires - do I need to leave the country?

Sorry if these are dumb questions and any help is appreciated.

Thank you

The next step will be to wait for your file number. And after that you need to wait for your nomination certificate. At the moment the processing time is 7 month. Nobody knows, if they speed up or slow down again. So hopefully you will get lucky and get it in time. If your work permit expires, you can apply for a visitor record, but you can’t work. Or your employer applies for LMIA. You can ask AINP for the support letter, after you get your nomination. With this letter you can apply for an employer specific work permit.

You can’t apply for a BOWP unless you have an invitation or nomination. Once you have the nomination you can apply. IF you don’t get an invitation, then you change your status to visitor and stop working. With an IEC, you need another IEC or a positive LMIA from your employer. If your employer is willing to apply for a LMIA then go ahead. There are only a few that are exempted.

AINP Tracker

Hello Everyone,

I have created a data capture form to collect AINP application dates and some related data. All of us could add our basic "Express Entry" info here. No personal identifiable info is getting captured. This is intended to capture only basic info and critical dates in the EE process.

Thank you @Rajit for help in reviewing it.

1. Use the form to fill in your AINP details.
2. Users don't need a google login to fill this form.
3. Response can be edited later.
4. Data entered in the form gets captured in a data sheet below (google sheet)

Form : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1...3VxwnRrt0pt0EtEkTBcUd8GA/viewform?usp=sf_link
Data Sheet : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...u7cBy0XzpZW0xTE1j_MMFQV2Fw/edit#gid=917604859

Thank you
Ry
Note - I will enter my details as soon as 67 point cut off is met and EE form is accepted. (As of now, I am at 65).

For AOS, we cannot apply for BOWP directly.
We will get a support letter from the government, then we can use the support letter to apply for closed work permit. BOWP needs the application number from PR application.

Same thing to me. I got my certificate in Ontario, working almost two years as food service supervisor in Calgary and I didn’t get any invitation
