I'm here for work and my wife came here for visitor(No stamp on passport).
We came in Alberta Nov 16th and my wife is a pregnancy and she needs Alberta Health care card for delivering a baby. (Due May 5th)
She applied open work permit on Dec 13th and not sure because Alberta health card qualification is "must apply within 3 months of when you arrive".
I still didn't get it since I applied Nov 27th.
I'm worried about my wife can't get AHCIP on time..
Before May, do you guys think my wife can get AHCIP?
Wonder why is it taking so long time to get a health care card?
What am I supposed to do?
