Alberta drivers licence...after AIP

I'm wondering if I can apply for an Alberta drivers licence after receiving my approval in principle..does anyone have any experience of this

I know you can in saskatchewan. we went and ask the license issuer

It depends, if you also applied for an OWP (Open Work Permit) you can. The validity of the driver's license will be up to the validity of your Open Work Permit. The paper alone that says you are approved for first stage is not enough.

Thanks guys...I have applied for OWP...but after I received AIP..I guess I will have to wait for it to be issued
