Airport to Enter Canada

Hi all! After getting the TRV, We need to go to Canada and at the airport you receive the permit right? My question is, can I land and get my study permit in Toronto airport even though my designated learning institute is in Alberta (University of Alberta)? I have plans to do a few shopping in Toronto city.

Yes. The first airport you land in wether it be a transit flight as well in any airport within Canada is the airport you receive your study permit.

Apparently, You should obtain the study permit in the first airport you land within CANADA!
