Yeah, Im going to mcgill too. Classes start on 7th but I've been asked to submit my legal documents before Jan 1st. I was actually admitted to mcgill for Sept 12 but never had the chance to apply for a permit as I met with an accident. Now my offer letter is like, this is to confirm Mr.xxx withdrew from McGill University on Sept 19, and was readmitted for the Winter 2013 Term by the dean. I hope this doesn't cause any problems at the port of entry, CHC Delhi had no problems though so hoping its all ok. It's also one of the reasons I'm going early since if the officer at the port has any doubt, he can call mcgill and confirm my story. They haven't closed yet for Christmas. What do you think?
As for Accomodation, I've searched a bit on craigslist but just cant find anything good online I guess. Or maybe I just have to see it in person once. Dont try for Mcgill Residences, they're very expensive and not worth it as you'll have a roommate aswell.
