When is air fare at its lowest between toronto & mumbai (bombay) i.e which part of the year and which is the best website to book?

Try AirFrance. If you book a month in advance, you could get fares as low as Rs 50,000.00 (for online booking)

try air canada. a friend of mine went last month to canada with her daughter. the flight ticket was approx 46000 per person round tip from delhi to toronto. booking done online 2 and half months early.

wait for other inputs too.

I too am looking for further information on this. Somebody told me about lufthansa but the cost of it appeared to be more when I checked it on line.

Check ITA http://www.itasoftware.com/ it will list most the airlines and the prices, you can't buy tickets on the site, but you can get the routing codes for the travel agent or airline.
