I received AIP yesterday night...I don't see applicants receiving AIPs nowadays...so does that mean rejection? Anyone on the same boat?

Congrats first of all. This shows that VO is still dealing Nov 2020 applications. Your application took 4 months to reach AIP stage although you were in SDS category.

Dw some people do receive AIP before ppr and it’s normal. People who applied before 15dec receive AIP, although I must add not all receive AIP. It’s nothing to be worried about, a few of my friends received AIP before ppr. Chill out
