I dont think pregnancy is a change of circumnstance yet, i think if there is a birth. Once your kid is born in canada they will be canadian :) just get here quickly (L)

Hi All,
I am planning on making a soft landing in Alberta coz I have got Alberta pnp. Would like to know if I can catch a flight via Vancouver or if my port of entry has to be Alberta? Any advice on the best travel route would be appreciated. I understand that a transit through the US would require a separate visa.

You will do the process of entrance and papers at the first aireport in Canada, just mention your final destination Alberta :)

Hi,

Please is there anyone that recieved noi recently from Alberta in their express entry profile within last few months? Please kindly share your experience. I recieved noi and sent the email to respond with my express entry profile number but never recieved any acknowledgement or checklist or link to the portal, what should I do as the two weeks time frame is almost coming to an end? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I am posting this on behalf on my younger brother.

My brother is currently on a post graduation work permit which is valid until 2026. He resides in Alberta with me, however, he is working remotely for a multinational company that has their office in Toronto, Ontario. His job category falls under NOC 11101, Teer 1.

Question:

1. Would he qualify for AINP as he resides here, has a sibling here? even though he works for a company located in Toronto?

2. Is applying for immigration under Canadian Experience Class by gaining 1 year of work experience a more viable option? (his CRS score is 503)

3. Any other suggestions/option for his particular scenario?

No he don't as per AINP requirements, check the link below , it explains that the business needs to be registered in Alberta

Rest is your call.

Then there is some chance check the links above. To be frank it's becoming quite hard in Alberta these days.
Thank for providing these links. Honestly, AINP through family connection seems to be the hope other than CEC draw to take place with scores at least 503. ANIP draws for family connections are not very often.

Hi All, in similar situation but the difference is that I currently work in Alberta with a PGWP same expiration timeline and no relation here but with a PGWP from another province. My question is, do we stand a chance to apply for PNP even with a non-Alberta PGWP? The directives online says PGWP from Alberta publicly funded institution but also I'm thinking with a valid job offer, I might qualify. Any thoughts on this will be greatly appreciated.
