We have verified the information you provided for the permanent residence application under the Provincial Nominee Program, received on October 22, 2013, and can confirm the following:

The application was indeed finalized and approved however no correspondence has been sent to date.
Please note the current processing delays for such application is 17 months, from the date of the reception
Once the Case Processing Center in Ottawa, Ontario is ready, they will communicate with the constituent.

Guys I know this is not what we want to hear surely I was surprised but this is the email I got from the MP today. I was very disappointed. Hopefully some of you guys will receive good other than this one. Good luck

... better get comfy guys, seems like a painful and long waiting ahead of us :(

Tell me about it. A promotion is waiting for me at my job now but it seems that I have to give that one up because of this. This is just plain frustrating.

Why do you have to give it up?

Common guys...dont feel down. This reply doesn't mean anything. It is just the official timeline they lost on the website. I am sure it will get better soon

the truth is ppr can come any day ... the only option we have is to wait patiently

Did my landing at Coutts yesterday, 6 hours drive from Edmonton.

I am now a PR of Canada ;D

Application Sent to Visa Office: 17 Oct 2013
AOR Received Date: 22 Nov 2013
Medicals Requested: 22 Nov 2013
Medicals Done: 12 Dec 2013
In-process - March 20
DM - May 21
PPR- June 18
Landed: July 17,2014

LOL. CIC tells us to wait, and MPs tell us that the normal processing time is 17 months, just because that's what CIC has on their website, even if it's not one bit representative.

All of this could be avoided if they just provided a few more details. If a decision has been made, why the delays?

hi guys,
I have a situation - I got my COPR, have not landed yet.
I am getting married in weeks and want to add my spouse in application. I have couple of questions-

1. if i add her now how long it will take to finish the process again?

2. can i change the job as Decision is already made on my application?

I'll really appreciate any suggestion and info.

Congrats!

But it seems you do not belong to the delayed group..I thought May 15-23 DM applicants were all delayed..

Well I am supposedly replacing two current supervisors that are going on mat leave this August but without the PR I am not allowed to take it and our company isn't giving lmo's now. I talked to them already to just hire. I know all of us are loosing opportunity just because they want to delay our processing for reasons beyond my comprehension.

Guys we have been talking here a lot and I trust you guys' judgment. This is my dilemma, passport life is only 9 months from now. Do you think it's wise to renew now or wait until I get my PPR? I was expecting it this month and though I still have enough time because they only need 6 months right but as what is happening today makes me concern as to renew or now. The renewal of passport here takes 2 months. Please let me know guys what you think I should do.
