Reason could be a huge set of people applied in Oct & Nov. that's why it's taking timeRuwsamcos said:hi..
after nov 1week applications cic even didn"t start to process..
lots of november applicants still waiting.... we don"t know when some thing happens... why so late????????????????????
when was your passport received by Ottawa? Is your return tracker activated yet?SahilKapoor said:Congrats man

I don't think that's the case, because, with the increased number of applications submitted the timelines between application was sent and AOR received would have increased correspondingly. Which didn't happen.akapoor said:Reason could be a huge set of people applied in Oct & Nov. that's why it's taking time
There are 2 different offices that process your file Nova Scotia Sydney is just the pre screening office that issues file# to the applicants. CPP Ottawa processes everything else including Visa issuance COPR etc..Freckle said:I don't think that's the case, because, with the increased number of applications submitted the timelines between application was sent and AOR received would have increased correspondingly. No no that's not true, there is another office in Sydney doing the same as ottawa, mine is being processed in Sydney. My application was received on Dec 9 - 2013, i already did medical in January and on May 15th, I got a reminder email as many December applicants, but I haven't heard from them again.. Do you guys know someone in a same situation?? I heard average waiting time for PPR could be between 6 - 7 months.akapoor said:There are 2 different offices that process your file Nova Scotia Sydney is just the pre screening office that issues file# to the applicants. I thought the same, all correspondence for Medicals (november), further info required (december) RPRF (march) etc was all through NS right up until the application was "Decison Made" (may) then after that we got ppr (may) and the ppr came from Ottawa and thats where we sent the stuff...Axmcol18 said:No no that's not true, there is another office in Sydney doing the same as ottawa, mine is being processed in Sydney.
