does anybody know after issuing file number, what do they do from file number to nominate? it seems they are consuming 2 to 3 months from file number to nomination. and that long time is for what?

Well if i understood correctly, file number means they just start looking at your file. That's why it takes long times.

I got file number at 5:15 PM that means they may still email you after 5 PM. Recent trend shows that they are bit faster issuing file numbers than it used to be in December/January.
