I have been nominated by Alberta but wish to land in Toronto and return within to US 2 days after applying for SINP. I thereafter plan to continue my US work while trying to look for a job in Alberta through online channels

I have read prev experiences where they refused to process PR application since you are not moving in completely. My questions/concerns are:

1. Is there any issue in getting a job without the 'physical' copy of PR? Can the SINP or its submitted application be used to get a job? I am completely unaware of job process in Canada.
2.Is there any issue in applying SINP from an office other than that in the province that nominated you? I will not be applying the healthcard

You need a Canadian mailing address to receive your PR Card and SIN Card. They are not sending those to overseas addresses. Obtaining a SIN no takes few minutes if you visit any service canada centre. They will provide you with the number on a letter and the card to follow to a Canadian address in 2 weeks.

Thanks for the reply
Just wondering if I can apply SIN from Ontario even if I am AINP guy? To put in simple words, is SIN number a federal recognition or provincial?
