Hello Everyone,
I would like to ask your advice. I applied to the AINP in June last year. I received a file number but then heard nothing, as you know the wait times are very long. Meanwhile, my current work permit ran out and I had to leave Canada. As I was on an IEC visa I could not extend it and as I had only received a file number and not a nomination, I could not apply for the BOWP.
I'm guessing this means my application is now void? Is there anything I can do or any reason to continue with it?
My new plan would be to work back home and gain enough experience to be able to apply for express entry. Or possibly save money to apply to study my Masters in Canada and then apply for PR after that.
Would it be detrimental to have this current AINP application still processing? I would like to go to school in Ontario if I do decide to study, as I like the look of the universities more there.
I have friends and past jobs in both Ontario and Alberta.
Thank you for your advice. I've had such terrible luck with this process, every decision I try and make is the wrong one!!
