AINP-AWE vs CEC which one is faster

Hi,

I am contemplating between AINP-Alberta Work Expereince and CEC .. i am eligible for both, at least that's what i think

I can apply for my PNP AWE nomination or CEC in beginning of Nov 2013.

What i want to know is that which one will be faster?
and
Which one is better - i know that with AINP, i will be confined to Alberta only. At least to begin with. Which i guess is fine for me as of now.

AINP you ll get within month..and then you can apply for federal which is gonna take 8 -10 month..

Another question -- if AINP-AWE is approved then does it mean that applying for federal is just a formality. The decision is made you just have to go thru the process of background check etc. ?

And can we actually apply for both ?
