I have posted my application(no pre-assessment) on 02/05/2009, got an email on 03/17/2009 asking for additional documents which I have emailed them next day the scanned copy and still waiting for application no.alberta1978 said:Can everyone who sent their application After 1/1/2009 using the new process (no pre-assessment) post here.
Please post if you are under the new process and have received a file number. I think only the pre-assessment ppl have got file nos. Please post when you sent your application so it will give a feel of how many ppl like me are waiting.
I sent my App on 1/16/2009. It has been 2 months and no file no. yet.
Thanks for your response. What do you think I can do now reg. this?alberta1978 said:I think it should be Buffalo,as that is the only one in US for Permanent Residence. Others are for other kind of visas.maruti81 said:Nice to see the progress coming!
I have a quick question...
On the copy of CIC forms that I sent along with AINP application which I did recently, I wrote the answer for 'The Visa office that is requested for the process of your application' as 'Detroit, MI'. Is this correct?
I wrote Detroit because it is near to me. I see many guys around here answered as Buffalo, NY.
I dont think you will need to send the proof of funds while sending the application..(it is only needed when sending for CIC)..suri38 said:Hi,
Thanks a lot for starting this very useful thread.
My AINP application was received by Canadian Immigration on 03/09/2009.
I am still waiting to get a reply from them.
I actually forgot to mention the funds we have and I did not send any bank statements also. Can anybody guide me through this, will we have any negative effects on our application.
Thanks in advance.
