I did that but still medical received. I'm not anxious as I am a applying with dependants.
Are your dependants already here in Canada?
My dependants are here with me in Canada(alberta) and I'm just wondering if it makes a little difference in the processing period. Yet so far, I havent heard anything from CIc. Last update was "medical results received". We submitted our application last Dec.2013.

Hi January applicant, I would like to share my experience, if anyone experience the same please let me know.

Got the nomination November 21, 2013,
Application receive on CIC : January 24, 2014
AOR and Medical request : February 25, 2014

Got married on February 7, 2014 in Bangladesh. So I faxed add family form to Edmonton AINP office and they email me a week letter and said to contact to CIC. So, I emailed to Ottawa office on February 28, 2014 that i got married and requested what forms need to be update and what document should i submit and the address. But i did get any response back from Ottawa office.

I have waited for a month but no response , so I sent another email to ottawa office on April 6, 2014 and they replied my file is being processing at Sydney Nova Scotia now, and they asked me to send the document to Sydney, Nova Scotia ASAP. But my understanding is after getting AOR from Sydney office, they mention on email that they are sending our file to the visa office we requested on the application. forms.

Now my concern is i got AOR on February 25 and its been almost two months , still file in Sydney, Nova Scotia? Anyone experience the same? Please let me know what should I do? I sent my spouse document to Sydney as per visa office requested me to send Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Thanks !!

Any update Maplelove? Is your medical now received?
I think applicants with sizable number of dependents usually have to wait for greater than 3 wks to see medical received reflect. Mine took some 24 days to show [Applicant + 4 dependents]. Good luck!

For those applicants who paid the landing fee together with their application package, did you still received RPRF? I just wonder.
Thanks

Need some advice. I lived in alberta and i need to book an appointment for my medical. But edmonton is to far for me. There is one clinic in fort saint john that is accredited. Do you guys think that i can do my medical in british columbia rather than edmonton or calgary?

Please help me.. Thank you

I am sure you can do anywhere in canada as long as the physician are listed on CIC website, and its always wise to do e-medical.

I guess it's immaterial where you do the medical as long as it's with a CIC accredited physician. All they want is your medical result from any of their approved physicians.

May I ask...... these dependents, were they originally in your provincial nomination?

Sorry am kinda confused here. You are the principal applicant, right? You included the dependents whilst filing for your PNP originally? And when the provincial nomination came out it included these dependents, right? But while you completed and submitted your PR to CIO you made these dependents Non-accompanying?

Seriously, I wouldn't advice you to bring them in now at this stage of your application.
To start with, you have to formally let the Alberta govt know of these additions because the nomination issued to you has ONLY yourself nominated. And mind you CIO takes clue from this provincial nomination (ie only those the province quoted as approved candidate(s) in the certificate). I know Alberta doesn't list all the names as before but they certainly mention the total number of persons approved in the nomination. Hence, CIO would equally expected the same number of persons with supporting documents in the main PR application filing except anyone of them is designated as Non-accompanying.
Putting them now is going to complicate if not jeopardize your PR application especially since none of them is a newborn (that came after you submitted your application) and neither did you get married (after you submitted your application).
In summary, I think you missed a golden opportunity to list those dependents in your AINP application even if you wouldn't have liked them to accompany you.
