I'm new to this forum but have been following it for a while.
I graduated this summer from a college major in Information Technology in Alberta.
On ALIS website, it states that:

Information Systems Professional
Information Systems Professional is a protected title under Alberta's Professional and Occupational Associations Registration Act. You do not have to be registered if you do not call yourself an...
Related Occupational Profiles
So that means everyone who study IT or computer related can not apply for AINP, because almost every IT occupations are regulated in Alberta, the only way to pass this requirement is to register to CIPS, but in the document they require students with 2 year diploma needs at least 5 year experience and pass the ethics exam to become a member, but PGWP holder only has 3 years in here. How can it be possible?
Any PGWP holder with IT diploma or degree apply for AOS, can you share your experience ?

CEC is hard for me because of not enough score. AINP is the only way, it makes no sense to require registration in IT. Anyone shares your experience?

My occupation is eligible. But the only way for registration is to become member of CIPS, which needs 5 year experience for 2 year diploma, but I only have 3 years on PGWP, it is impossible

Look on the AINP site and it will provide the steps. Check to see if your NOC is on the ineligible list as it has been updated recently. Yes, you need an EE profile. Focus is on the AOS not EE stream right not as immigration has been cut by 30%.
