Agri Food Pilot Program Updates

Hi All

One of my relative has received the agri food lmia and work permit last year. The lmia and work permit is valid only for a year. She will be eligible to apply for the agri food pilot program in a month or so after completing her 12 months of experience. There are few areas she needs clarity on:

1: Post completing her work permit tenure and submitting the PR application, can she apply for her work permit extension based on the pr application. Does she need a new lmia for this?
2. In case her employer is not willing to (which she has to determine yet), and she gets another LMIA/workpermit from another employer will that affect her PR application?
3. Is it mandatory that her next work permit or lmia should be farming related itself with the same noc?

If anyone has any information about the process it will be a great help thank you so much.

Hello, i hope you read this message. i have the same situation on you, i lost my status as a worker and currently in a visitor record. i applied this program and got aor, did you apply bowp for this program? thanks

hi , i applied in march , got my biometrics , medical done , got my pre arrival letter as well ., but there is no update after that. please let me know if there is anyone who applied near march if anyone got any update or approval? i am so streessed about it , its been an year

Hi everyone, can I ask a question?
Right now my PR application is still under background check. I’ve got my Bridging Open work permit, and I got another job at my company (same employer but different job). Is it necessary to inform IRCC this change? Noted that I’m currently still in probation period for this job, have signed a new contract, but I got the job offer letter.

Hi everyone,
Would you know how much is the median rate for meat cutter noc 94141 in 2023 and 2024 before it changed in december 3, 2024. My job offer's rate in 2023 for 2 years is 21/hour and it did not increase since i submitted my PR application in August 2024. Im afraid I will a get a refusal due to not meeting the median wage. I have not receive yet the eligibility letter until today and my wp has expired and my bowp is refused in March. I plan to convert to visitor while waiting for my new lmia.
