Your are being covered under health insurance only upon the registration at school, not upon arrival.
I don't know about his university, but I'm being covered from 15th Dec onwards valid from the moment I reach a Port of Entry in Canada and even on vacation to home country/study related visit for upto 2 months during studies.

Dude, that's not spamming, its just a suggestion... if you don't feel like than you can ignore it.
