Hi thr....

I have applied for Pr of canada under SINP (Saskatchewan)

My Passport has gone for Stamping ....

Can some one please tell me .. in how many Days i have to cross the Border so that my PR CARD process Starts ???


Also .. Please explain the Process after Stamping ... can i go back to my country .. and while coming back i can cross the border ???

for how long/ within how many days i need to cross the border...

kindly reply with ur experience or suggestions ...

as i need to go back home for some family reasons ...

Hi. I am not there yet, but this is what I know.

The COPR or stamp in your passport should give you an expiry date until you need to land. most likely it is one year later then your medicals.

If you are from a visa exempt country you need to apply for travel document, if you want to travel before your pr card arrives. or, you have it let send to you, that when you come back you have it.

is it necessary i need to take the US border for crossing or i can enter from any other ports(toronto/calgury) ???

few of my frnds have got a 1yr single entry visa during which they have to cross the border...

either border crossing by land or if you fly in internationally you do it through immigration section, or you make an appointment at service canada office (not sure where those are, but in every bigger city).
