After PR can i get married and take my spouse with me to Canada?

@legalfalcon Can you please suggest something for the below scenario:

1. The guy applied for the PR as an outland applicant via OINP and received PR visa but still has not done landing.

2. He married a girl in the same country who was also a PR applicant via OINP but hasn't received the PPR yet but most of her checks are completed

What should they do next so that their process also doesn't gets delayed due to additional requirements?

You should really post in the relevant forum (provincial nominee programs), this is not a family sponsorship question. (It would be if either of you had already become PRs).

Very short form: I believe both of you MUST separately advise IRCC of your change in marital status - immediately and in your case before landing. Yes, it will require additional stuff for both of you. If your spouse can successfully be added to your app, she could drop that app, but you may wish to keep both 'live' until settled.

It may get adminsitratively complicated as two parallel overlapping and crossing - but technically nothing wrong with having both ongoing.
