After Landing in Quebec

Hi everyone!!!

My husband finally landed as a PR a few days ago. However we are a bit confused about the next steps to follow. First of all my husband was a failed refugee; therefore he already has a temporary SIN number before he left. Will he be issued a new one since he is a PR now and can we just apply for it now or does he need to wait for his PR card? If anyone who has landed in Quebec can maybe share their experience!

I think your best bet is to immigration Quebec and ask all those questions.

He has to apply for a new SIN at service Canada, he doesn't need the actual PR card to do it, he can simply show his COPR.
