I was absent for the long time and now I have no news about our bloody Amman VO.

Has they moved just a little? Any progress? What is new?

Guys i got news from embassy i reached with one of the employees of embassy in amman and i asked about if i should put my children in formal schools this year in case the embassy replied within next 12 months or put them in any monthly paid schools the answer was if my file was transferred to "bucharest" it will take long time so put them in good schools you should wait but when they checked my file they sent me an email that my file will not be processed this year and all you can do is wait and my file is not in bucharest it is still in amman

The Canadian GOV announced that residence should be now 4 years in first 6 years instead of 3 in first 5 years to get Nationality and after that you should reside for 183 days in last 4 years after you get nationality this was in 19th of JUNE Officially

That's bad news indeed. Do you know what exactly he means by "long time"? is it a year or four years for example? Why did they transfer the files to Bucharest if they don't want to process them? They said that it was due to workload distribution, which means they wanted to work faster on them. I think when our friend mft gets her CAIPS we can get an idea about how long we still have to wait. It would be good if we find out that they already started the security checks. let's hope so.

nickm: I gave my passport Sunday, on Tuesday they sent me an email to come an collect my passport. So basically two days but I think it depends, my friend sent his passport on the same time and they still didn't contact him

But according to it
Citizenship applicants will need to be physically present in Canada for a total of four out of their last six years. In addition, they will need to be physically present in Canada for 183 days per year for at least four of those six years. These provisions will come into force in approximately a year.
So as I understand this law will be enforced in a year time not now

well my dear.i want to tell u about something,ur file will transferred sooner or later to bucharest,coz if u see the tables of Quota visas for amman,u will notice that there is not any quota for amman vo in this year(2014),it means that they will not process any file in amman vo or last files will transferred to bucharest vo sooner or later.
second thing,i know it will take long time for bucharest to process my file,it will take one year for me to get the visa,not 4 years ,they transferred our files to faster processing ,not to late them,the transition time takes about 5-6 months in order to open our files guys.
third thing,when our friend nobelknight sent them an email to ask about his file,they sent him this phrase: we r about starting processing your file.
i know that i will receive my medical in spetmebre,and i know that i will receive my visa next year not in this year,so i am not shocked about this news,it will take about one year for everyone in this forum to get visa ,coz if they start sending medical after 2 months ,so u will get ur visa next april or juin.

Ya dr Tariq all I wanted is just to share info I know that u know all of that but this to confirm what you have said before and again this could be the case but as I have seen our applications are studied by arab employees fa 3shan hek nayteeeeen w Allah yjeb elle fe elkhair for me I won't ask before jan 2015 about my file again and continue with my life as told by embassy employee and be patient
