CAIPS is short for 'Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System'. It is the computer system historically used by Citizenship & Immigration Canada to process visa applications, and holds all the information on the current status of every immigration application being processed by overseas offices

http://www.caips.ca/
i did it using this website but i advise you to wait do not do it now may be nov or dec is better
Regards

due to the last changes , if your case is under new rules then you need b2 to get points for french. date of receiving file is not guaranteed to be counted for old rules . any answer you get from any freind here is only his opinion so do not rely on. as kita said it is still early for their email wait until they send you answer or file nimber . be patient and i wish you best of luck

hi all
this is the answer of immigration minister for my complaint sure it is meaningless

This is in reply to your e-mail of xxxxxxx, addressed to the Honourable Jason Kenney, former Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, concerning your application for permanent residence under the Quebec-Selected Skilled Worker Program. We apologize for the delay in responding.
I appreciate your wish to have your case finalized as soon as possible. Probably no other immigration issue causes more dismay or gives greater concern than processing delays. We understand that as processing times lengthen anxiety levels increase.
As you may be are aware, the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) has been in a legal strike position since April 2, 2013. While there is no general strike at the moment, job action is taking place, including rotating temporary withdrawals of services at some visa offices outside Canada.
Contingency plans have been put in place to ensure that visa offices affected by the strike action remain open and are providing a minimum level of service. Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) continues to monitor the situation closely.
Our records confirm that your application is being processed at the Canadian visa office in Amman. Please be assured that you will be notified if additional information or documentation is required.
I hope that this information is helpful.
