I am starting to think the term "unopened" = "lost". The comment that CIO call centre would send a memo asking about an "unopened" application in two weeks was interesting. If it has been a number of months why do they have to wait another two weeks???

India135...have you returned you application with the additional pictures and cover letter + copy of their letter? Four months to get it back is dreadful. What was the actual postmarked date on the returned pkg?

My whole package returned with all my documents and on the package postmarked date was 12/08/2010

Did they return the file in their envelope or the envelopes you provided with you application, and your address was it written in English or your native language.

they return file in their envelope. even i had couriered two seprate cover in it. and they written in ENGLISH.

Have they refused all applications who applied under the occupations which were excluded on 26 June 2010? I had applied under Accountant category but haven't heard anything from my consultant yet.

I think you should verify with your consultant. If your job is not on the list and you applied, it will be returned unless you have a job offer.

Bro, i also sent my complete application package on 20 Sept 2010 and was received at CIO on 24 Sept 2010. I did try to inquire about my status on CIO's online inquiry and they told me that "my submission is currently under review".
It's been nearly 4 months and i haven't received the approval/case number. But im still hoping for a positive output from them. God bless! Rocknroll

Do they intiamte about the return of application by email?

That is good news, at least you know that your paper is with them and not returned, Just wait and try your best to be patient and it will be a rewarding wait. If you will see , my submission was september 8, 2010 and just now I received an email to book a GT exam. That sucks, but I have no choice but to comply.
