The physicians will do only what is safe.
You have a long way to go. They will make u do DNA test as well after your baby is born....this takes forever

Guys I have applied to sponsor my wife from AFG. on April 6 2015. My case has been approved by CIC. After that I went to AFG, to visit my wife, meanwhile CIC asked for medical exams for my wife, but my lawyer filled to inform me about that while I was in AFG. I stayed with my wife 3 month and im back to Canada, 2 months ago now my wife is 5month pregnant now I want to to te medical exam but im not sure if its safe for my wife and my baby?

please share your experiences I ll be appreciated.

there is nothing wrong doing medical exam, plus you need to inform CIC about your wife pregnancy as the process may take time if the baby is born with out informing CIC she/he wont be able to land with her mom

and not sure why we got interview i mean theres no age issues culture so im curious to know

order notes now as it takes 30 days to get it. You will be able to see all the notes officer put on the application which might indicate why you are being interviewed. I did my interview in October and was very easy. Make sure you know a lot about your spouse and they know a lot about you as well. As long as your marriage is legitimate, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Just be confident. Good luck

i did order notes and also did mp inquiry they said tht interview is because they have some confusion about our marriage date. we did nikah and court marriage but on different days so i think they want to check.


what was the reason gir yr interview and how long was ur interview ? what kinda questions did they ask u

-did you know that your sponsor was divorced.
-why did your sponsor get a divorce.
-why did your parents marry you to your sponsor.
-sponsors date of birth
-your date of birth
-do you have blood relation to your sponsor.
-did the age difference between you and your sponsor not matter to your parents.

all in all the interview took 15mins and we were done.

I got a remedical request and did while I was in Delhi. Its been over a week and was wondering what happens next.

guys i have question if immigration asks us if ur blood related, i dont know what yo say cause my dad n his dad are like second cousins from their momz side ... in our application i put far away cousins for my dad sooo am iblood related to my husband ?

They did interview to clarify some information. I was in the room for about 10 mins and my husband was in the room for 15 mins then the officer told us we passed and he gave us medical request. Questions asked were:

How did we meet?
Why did we get married so fast?
Did I know him from before?
What does he know about me?
Where do I work? What do I do? How do I get to work? They asked him if I own a car and what car is it
Why did I marry someone all the way from Afghanistan and not from Canada?

Just make sure both your answers are the same and be confident.

You will just have to wait now. Once interview is done and medical is done, it will go to security and background check. My husband did his interview Oct 25th and medical Nov 4th. We haven't heard anything yet. The officer that interviewed us told us the security and background check can take up to 6 months as it is done by 3rd party

We used Integrated Language Solutions and alhamdulillah had a great translator. It cost us 3600 rupees. I recommend getting a translator if the applicants english is not good.
