OMG I can't believe I'm saying this, but my husband FINALLY received PPR!!! I am extremely happy! He will be travelling to Islamabad tomorrow inshallah to submit his passport.

Wow looking at past few Afghan members who got PPR some got visa within 6 days and others in about 20-25. Hoping for the best! And thanks yeah our case took ridiculously long

I am still waiting since October 2015 after I sent them the PR fee, Supplementary form and police clearance report. Still no update. My Timeline complete package was sent to Delhi on March 2015.

Have you received any emails from VFS? The last one my husband got says "Dear ___, Visa application,tracking ID No. ____ has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, Islamabad on _____. Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email."

Did you get the same email when you submitted the passport?

Afgzohal - You applied in 2015 . According to the spreadsheet people are getting DM in 2 weeks. I really dont know anymore I see people in this thread waiting for 2 years plus. Do An MP enquiry ask if NDVO has received your Remedical. I hope u get DM soon . It would mean they are treating afg files the same as indians.

I did an mp Inquiry and they said there's an outstanding security check that needs to be done and the decision will be given but it will take a few Months. They said everything is fine with my file so I don't know why the delay.

I Just visited my husband and came back a week ago, ITs the worst feeling coming back alone and missing your loved one the moment you get on the plane and realize you are going far away and leaving them at a place where safety doesn't exist . kho khairast khodawand mehraban ast. Tawakal ba khoda .

Hi, he did do his pcc but just once and I sent that with the papers. And I got no request for another one . Wow I want to go back but it's so bad there and work isn't letting me
