do you know how the Visa office will inform you once they issue the Visa, like; would they call you or send you an email?
any idea please? ???
or anyone has idea please share.

They send you email and also they inform you by calling if you give pakistani phone number and also you can check your passport status online they give you also tracking number too it too easy

I have recently ordered notes to find out how far my husband's sponsorship process has gotten. I filled out the form and paid the $5 fee. Now I received an e-mail from ATIP-AIPR with the following message:

Dear XXXX XXXX,

This is to acknowledge receipt of your request submitted pursuant to the Access to Information Act received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada on November 9, 2015 for the following records:

the electronic permanent residence file concerning XXXX, XXXXXX.

We regret to inform you that we are unable to process your request for the following reason:

The consent of XXXXX, XXXXX is required to process your request and allow us to release his information to you. To be valid, a consent must be signed, recently dated, contain the printed name of the person giving consent and indentifies you as the designated individual. Please ensure that the consent form is signed by all applicable parties and has the signature date and date of birth.

You can find the new ATIP consent form at the following link:

Note that we will put your request on hold until we receive the requested information from you. If we have not received your reply by December 17, 2015, we will consider the request abandoned and close our file accordingly.

Can someone clarify, please. Do we just need to fill out the consent form and send it to the given address? If we do not want the notes and disregard the e-mail will that affect our sponsorship case in any shape or form? It says at the bottom of the e-mail that if they do not receive the form by the given date, they will close the file accordingly. Does that mean they will close the request of notes or the whole sponsorship case?

finally my wife got her Visa today.
it took 14 months to get the Visa.

Islamabad Visa office. and took 18 days to issue the visa.
don't worry inshallah you will get it soon, why because when you get Pakistan Visa it is written there each entry 30days stay in PAK. so they knows that as well. max 21days you will get Canada visa..

You don't need for lawyer go afghan women center in Canada and filling up your applications there lawyer don't work perfectly better way to do it by afghan women center I did to almost my case done now

I'm still waiting for a response as they requested some additional documents: Sent Oct 13, 2015.

But my timeline says: We started processing your application on April 14, 2015.

They sent to the wrong email, I didn't check that email until October and sent them the documents that they were looking for (PR Fee, Criminal Report and Supplementary form). which I sent Oct 13th by email.

Should I keep waiting, should I go to the MP?

I am Oct 27 2014 applicant. Today I received from New Delhi my nikkah and some personal documents that i had sent on behalf of my husband to prove our relationship back to me. Is that a good sign? and for anyone here what happened after you got your personal document back

Mine took over a year ! But it's different in case to case

After how many days after receiving documents back did you get an email from them.
My husband got his medical request on Sept3 2015 and he got them completed Sept5 2015. But on that website to check status it still says In Process
