Salam my dear forum friends I have a question I want to sent a litter on Canada embassy in Islamabad and tell my problem I stay in my relative house inslamabad my parents gone to afg bcs of a personal problem I can't saty any more here the weather is unlimited hot and I tell the situation if my visa is ready plz give me but my husband tell me don't give a risk what should I do plz help me I sent a litter or not? Iam in very unlimited hard situatin I can't wait anymore I want to go afg and leave all things

To be honest, all of us are in bad situation, but sister the embassy never consider our problem. However, as the Afghan nation visa is given by islamabad , so it does not matter that you stay in Pakistan or Afghanistan. If you give your email to contact you, they will send you email whatever they need from you. Please share your time line.

Since your passport is with them, it is a good idea to contact them and I am sure they will issue the visa in 2 to 4 weeks. When I saw your post I thought your case is still in process. However, be patient they will issue your visa very soon.

You can start it and mail it, but you have to be resident in Canada, which means you live and work here.... If you are on visit, you can start forms and sibmit it, but your address is Canada as sponsor....

My husband's police clearance just recently expired to he went to get a new one. They told him that it would be send to the embassy of Canada in Delhi. Now, is that the same place as DELHIIMMIGRATION? If not, how should we send it to dlhiimmigration??

You have to ask them to send it to afghan consulate where you are, and then mail it from here...I guess your husband is back home...

I am sorry for late update. I got dm on 15july but they send out the passport request in my mailing address, therefor I was not able to receive it. I go thru so much hard time. Finally my mp helped me , so they send again the passport request in my email. That is why I submitted late . Now i am waiting for visa bakhair.But Azar bar shokor at least I got it. I apologize for late update. Hope you all get bakhair soon. Specially the once whom wait way longer like me and more than me. Har Che misha khair mibasha. Always say khair when you pray.

I sent my wife's application back in May 2014 and I received a letter saying it's gone to India in July 2014.
Since then I haven't heard anything from anyone. It's a year now.
Each time I call my MP, they keep telling me no news. U have to wait.
It's a stupid conservative MP here in my city. They don't like to help us Muslims.

My wife is currently in Kabul and I'm very worried because of the situation there. There was bomb explosion in front of her house on July 7 2015 and all their windows are broken. She got hurt also

Guys have a question.. Afghan government is coming up with a new passport and apparently after October 2015 the old Afghan passports will no longer be valid. What should we do at this point? Should we go on and get the new passport...and then email Delhi the certified copies of the new passport. Or should we just wait and ignore it. I'm so worried. If we dont do anything what if they say that they can stamp the old passports anymore or that you cant travel with them at all?!

don't worry, my application is also from 2014, if they don't contact you means you are in good shape and they don't need any more documents from you. whenever they need they will let you know. i just ordered note for my wife, it was mentioned that it will take 36 months, so our turn will come on 2017 man, i hope it is not true but if it is we don't have choice, we can't do anything except wait and watch man. i don't bother my MP i even dont know who the hell is here. i blv it doesn't help the process if i talk to MP or not. so i better not to.
always be alerted, check your email in-case they need something. other then that wait and pray man.

i know AF situation is not good but what we can do? nothing in fact.
just to let you know that you are not alone in that ship there are more ppl with you like me lol
