Afghanistan Spouse Sponsorship thru India

Hey guys just wanted to ask you guys for some general info and what should I expect.

I got married as of last May 2014. I had submitted my documents with everything. I had got a document back to redo the general application form as there was a November update.

Resent it in January 2015 as I needed wifes signature. As of March 25, 2015 got an email that it has been sent to the visa office in India.

When I log into the website.

says medical report received and we received on March 25th and we sent email on 29th. What is the next step. I have done everything before hand. Police report is attached, Medical is attached, supporting documents, pictures you name it everything.

How long do I wait for the next response and what will they require next from me.

BUMP experienced guys if you can help me out on what to expect and how long does it usually take after this step. Would I have to do the medical again.

From my experience if everything is sent beforehand they will not ask for anything unless a document or evidence is missing
And they will ask for medical again if your wife's medical is expired and they still have not finished processing your file. If the file is processed while the medical is valid then they will straight ask for passport. Also, if they feel that your relationship is not genuine based on the documents you have provided them then there is a possibility for an interview

thought will get my passport back in 6 days like other forum members but no luck. it's been 14 days I have submitted my passport

just be patient, mine was super weird, it took 52 days, for my wife to get her visa, by the way she is going to land tommorow, I

cant wait i am super excited, I hope you get yours soon also, if you need help with flights i am pretty good at it, i got a good deal on my wifes air tickets...

Salam Sadafh, I wish that everything is ok with you. I am pretty sure that these time line should apply to the 2012 and 2013 cases since the new cases are directly send to Delhi and London, therefore it does not make any sense that they extended the processing time in Pakistan to 40 months.

I dont think so, everything was done through Pakistan, Islamabad.

All afghan files were transferred to New delhi last year, and was processed there. (see your gcms notes, it will indicate that there)
The last process (for visa) is completed from pakistan.

Hey bro, first of all congratulation on the arrival of your spouse and finally getting together after a very stupid long process.
I just have one question, did your wife took the documents/Forms that were given to her while issuing the visa, if yes where and what other documents are required to have while traveling to Canada.
