Hey guys just wanted to ask you guys for some general info and what should I expect.

I got married as of last May 2014. I had submitted my documents with everything. I had got a document back to redo the general application form as there was a November update.

Resent it in January 2015 as I needed wifes signature. As of March 25, 2015 got an email that it has been sent to the visa office in India.

When I log into the website.

says medical report received and we received on March 25th and we sent email on 29th. What is the next step. I have done everything before hand. Police report is attached, Medical is attached, supporting documents, pictures you name it everything.

How long do I wait for the next response and what will they require next from me.

If you done medical before in the same clinic they give you discount but if it is your first time in this clinic they take about 350$ us dollars

Hey guys

My husband has the new passport issued to Afg citizens
and the had to shorten his name by one letter due to the capacity ...

Will that be a problem at the time of visa issuance?

Call Immigration and ask them how to correct a spelling mistake. On the form it asks so many times the name to be correct, so you have to take all the steps.

Salam to every one,
I am new to this forum, I want to know if any one in this forum has info about Afghan refugee dependent family members' process from Islamabad. I am a Protected Refugee and I got my PR last year (june 2014) and when applied for my PR in July 2013, at the same time I applied for my family as well. My family is in Afghanistan and islamabad says they received application for my family but it needs initial review. does any one has an idea how long it might take?

Thank you

I think this explains it all pretty much.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/department/media/notices/2015-04-27.asp

The Canadian government is prioritizing the process of applications by Nepal nationals.

They are working on existing applicants and new applications being submitted after the earthquake.

I think this is why they are working very slowly with our and Indian applicants.

hi guys,

thought will get my passport back in 6 days like other forum members but no luck. it's been 14 days I have submitted my passport
