Salaam guys. So when you pick up your passport from the VAC what kind of ID are you supposed to have? I sent my husband's original tazkira with the application so he doesnt have that.. will a photocopy work?

Salam Asefi,

This is straight from the Pakistan VAC website:

Applications collected by Applicants

Applications can be collected personally by the applicant upon providing the following information:

1. VAC Original ICR receipt
2. A copy of valid CNIC of the applicant

Applications collected by an immediate family member

For applications collected by an immediate family member (spouse, parent or child only), the following information is required:

1. VAC Original ICR receipt
2. Original & a copy of valid CNIC of the applicant
3. Original & a copy of valid CNIC of immediate family member (spouse , parent or child only)
4. An authority letter in the name of the family member (spouse, parent or child only) bearing applicant’s signatures

For us Afghans, instead of CNIC (refers only to Pakistani residents) the applicant will have to provide his/her AFG tazkira.

Omg... what am I going to do? Do you think a copy of the tazkira will be enough?

@ Asefi,

One thing you can do now is email the NDVO and tell them about your situation that your husband's tazkira is with them in New Delhi so what can you do when the visa is ready for collection, etc.

I would but do they ever even reply to us? .. honestly I am so fed up with all of this :( I am so upset. Allah please help all of us.

Maybe you should take the letter to your MP and ask them if its a PPR letter or something else. He will give you an accurate answer
Hope it helps :)
