Oh no really bro :( Had you security been started when you ordered them last time? I pray we all hear from them soon. I read in the ND thread that they were processing old cases for the first 2 weeks of March, then new cases for the next week and then back to old files towards the end of the month; so inshAllah we will all hear something towards begining of April BAKHAIR.

Hi Saeed.Afghan, he is my cousins husband and he came to Canada in the end of last month( February this year, 2015) and he got his visa within one week. I don't know he said tazkira is important every time you may need to visit VAC, he mentioned one time he forgot his tazkira at home and they give him hard time. Also, we did not have a reliable address in Pakistan so I have sent his tazikira by DHL to Kabul and DHL officer said it will be there by end of this week. I am getting worried as new year holidays coming this weekend and I am so concern that my husband is too late..... I hope he receive the post on time as 30 days time limit is expires 3rd of April...I don't know what to do...any idea?
Khatera sis, don't worry about it too much. It was a good idea that you sent his tazkira, it will for sure save him from a lot headache. DHL and TNT are excellent in keeping their time promises; I've used DHL twice to send some docs to Kabul and both times it got there on time. So don't worry inshAllah....soon your husband will have his passport in hand with the visa!

Hi dear forum members

One of my cousin applied for Canada spouse visa
It's been 32 months and now they asked for her passport
Copy.

Are they Gona issue her visa?

They asked for her passport or copy of passport? Usually NDVO doesn't ask for passport copy....unless your cousin is sponsoring via London?

There isn't a SPECIFIC income requirement any longer. It used to be ~$30,000 per year which was required in order to sponsor a spouse, but it's been lifted for quiet a few years now. You do need to convince CIC about how you plan on supporting your spouse once he/she comes to Canada. So it's always good to have a steady income (that's why they ask for option C form) or you can get a family member to sign a letter saying they will give you a place to live/ help you when your spouse comes here.
Also, there have been numerous people who have landed in Canada and within a few weeks they apply to sponsor their spouse...next to impossible to get a regular income within a week or so of landing.

Thanks for info Outlandish; there is a member (Abdul) he was asking for more info about this subject. i hope he got what he needs......

Hi Everyone,

Although not in same category but I believe once in NDVO all Afghans are treated in same timeline. I have been following up this forum for some time
Today I got request for re-medical after submission of my passport photocopy, Pcc and additional documents. I called the doctor and got appointment on Monday, they have asked me to do my medical within 7 days. I hope all forum members get good news in this month.
Does anyone know how long does it take to get PPR after re-medical.

thank you

The good part is once your husband receives his tazkira inshallah, one quick option is that he can go right away to Islamabad VAC and submit the passport on the same day, whether he goes by air or by road. But of course he should leave in the early morning and submit the pp before 4 pm I think it was. My brother-in-law took an older lady with him so before the Paki police bothered him in Peshawar, he gave the pp, money, and other important docs to her because women don't get searched.

Another good thing is if your husband does get the tazkira by the end of this week, he still has around 1and a half weeks til April 3 to submit the pp (March 23 - April 2).

All this is hectic, I know. We had our share of problems and stress as well. But once we took action and everything went through successfully, there was a calming sense of relief. And we really have to put our trust in God that He'll make everything right eventually, especially in the most stressful times. ;)

Salam dear members,

Just have a few questions if anyone can help.

1) Is it possible for the Canada Visa Office in Pakistan to transfer my wife's passport and visa to the Canadian Embassy to Afg?

2) Inshallah when my wife gets the visa and will come to Canada, I'd like to know which route is the easiest for her to take to avoid problems on the way. For example, will she need to get a transit or visitor visa for a certain country on the way to Canada?

People who are about to get the visa very soon bakhair should also think about the 2nd question too; it's really important for you all to know before hand.

I hope everyone gets good news soon!
