This waiting process is getting very stressful

Any updates from anyone on the forum?

I received the following reply from the Embassy:

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

The majority of Afghan application received from Islamabad in early 2014 were already passed our published processing times. We now continue to process them as part of our regular case load, and a number of Afghan files transferred from Islamabad are now finalized or close to finalization.


We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Salam. Security information is not shared with either sponsor or applicant. They will always hide the status for security. If you order notes again or compare your notes with previous ones, you'll notice it next to security. Also, you will notice s.15(s) quoted on top of the page whenever there is security mentioned. If you can see I next to security, then that means they did a poor job of hiding it. I would assume I means In Progress which would mean that they are currently doing security checks. That can take 4 months. My spouse's security took around 4 months and from what I've read, many other Afghan's security took around that time.

Is your "eligibility" passed?

RFV means Ready for Visa. If your eligiblity is passed then that means they're waiting for background/security checks. So this is good news

Thank for reply. Yes the eligibility passed and the interview also has been waived. Remedical it says passed. My application is in process since 11 July 2014. From that time they doing this security stuff until now doesn't finish.
Can I asked you other question. In your recent not what it said about your criminality ?

The worst part is over now sister. They are satisfied with the genuineness of your marriage. Now it's just a matter of time until your security checks are passed and they ask you for your passport. I would advise you to visit your MP and ask for a status update. Just to get them to contact NDVO and wake them up.

As for the notes...criminality was passed the day the case officer passed the eligibility. They passed criminality and sent a request for new medicals on the same day. Security, on the other hand, took forever. Now thanks to the incompetent workers at NDVO, they've asked us to submit the passport in New Delhi when it should've been submitted to Islamabad. Did you provide police clearance certificate with your application? That should grant you a pass on the criminality, as far as I know.

When was your eligibility "passed" and interview waived? That's the original date your case should've went to IP.

Hey the website is for UAE so not too sure
I remember you wrote that he got a tracking number and it said that the passport is read to be picked up
Didn't your husband go to the visa office?

I do not know what is youd issue. Is the letter say he has to show tazkira or passport? You can send the Tazkira to Kabul on Monday and he will have it by Thursday, and then he can submitt it with passport. Or you can scan a copy of it and send it to him untill he gets the original. Just mail it, and he will get it in Kabul if you do not have a reliable Pakistan address...

Hi EXMANE, the letter only says for passport returning to show tazkira but as afggirl said, now a days they are very strict, one of my close relative came from Afghanistan newly and got his visa from Islamabad and had gotten the same letter as me. I asked him about the importance of Tazkira and he said they wana see the real at submission too and take photocopy and give it to you back and as well as every time you need to contact VAC office, they ask for your tazkira and if you don't have it with you they give you hard time. That is i waited my husband and today I submitted by DHL to kabul and DHL said to me he will receive it until sunday,....and hopefully he receives it soon as I see other ppl who got PPR at the same time as me already send their passport .... i hope he get before the 30 days time limit. Tawakal ba khuda jan.
I was just concerned and wanted to make sure what is the best and fastest way to send his tazkira. I am really thankful from all of you provided me useful information and idea and I submitted to day and I hope he can get it on time.
I wish every one in this forum who is waiting an easy and smooth process of visa issuance

Nooo dear nick bro, it was my mistake lol I mean it is waived. They didn't ask for interview.
But I don't know why they don't start criminality.

hay Rozi,

am also in same ship, CIC received my Doc. on 9th Oct and then transferred to NDI but i did get an email not letter.
well this is the first process now wait and watch. if they needs more documents they will let you know as well as interview. but if everything goes smooth they will ask for PPR inshallah buttt not soon that will happen in 2016 ..

Thank you, but before one of my casinos passed the same situation and she got her visa within 9 months so if Allah wants maybe we will get our visa in 2015 and i submitted my all related documents i don't think so they will ask me for other documents, my husband took a lawyer for me and just without my medical expiration coz my medical is going to be expired on June 2015. Well let see khair basha
