I am currently living in Canada and I have sponsored my husband who lives in Afghanistan.
I have submitted my forms on Oct. 27 2014 and received letter on January 19, 2014 from the Immigration that they have received my application and that I have met the requirements as a sponsor. My application for Permanent Residency has been forwarded to New Delhi.

I recently checked the process times for New Delhi issuing visa is 8 months ..way better .. last it was 13 months :-X

Hello to all the valued members of this page,

I have been checking the Processing Times: Family Sponsorship under the CIC website where they either reject or forward the application to the according to Visa office. They have changed it from 41 days to 81 days to now 85 days . This is not fair
Anyone else in the same boat waiting to be either rejected or not?

i got couple of question if you guys if anyone can help me out.
i send my wife's sponsor application to cic Sept 02-2014.
after a month they sent me a latter that you are missing another form
so i fill it out and sent it back on Oct 10-2014

so far i don't know what is going on, i was worried if they didn't receive my last form so i called them and they send me an email that it is under process,

the question is do i expect any latter from them?
why it is taking so long it has been 4 months. i think it is still with Toronto CIC office.
is this a normal process or what? coz i am really worried.
do i have to wait and watch? please some one advice.

It's normal dear ! As long as you have recived a letter that you have met the sponcership requirements! You will not recive any other letter till your interview, remadical or PPR or incase they need any doumments from you !

Lolatman ded k cic kho Mara update namikuna bash k khoda bazi betem like this that is so sad they are taking so long in our cases. I really don't know the reason
