I like this website since most of us who got married in Afghanistan, waiting for our loved ones to come here and start a new life together soon inshallah.

But the immigration process is so long.

I have couple questions from my brothers and sisters.

In the e-CAS it should say application in process?
How long till the application in process and ask for the second medical examination of the applicant?
What does it mean when they ask for the second medical examination it means that the application in process or after results received by the Visa office the applicant will be contacted for the interview?


Please i really would like to get some response to my questions.
Im sure there are lots of other people with same questions in their heads and don't know who to ask?

Usually your ecas would say in process when they ask for remed or after the interview
when they ask for second remed it is mostly a good sign. Obviously if nothing is wrong with the medical assessment. [some say interview may still be an option after re-medical; but i doubt it] once they receive your remedical, your ecas will be decision made. And decision made in most cases, means that visa is ready. then youll just have to wait for PPR.
This is the case, MASHALLAH for many of our members in this thread. Inshallah the same for you.

Hi, nothing. inshallah khaire basha. my MP says, it can take a few days to weeks to even 2 months for PPR. but when i had called the other day she said the BRING FORWARD DATE for your file is in a couple weeks. Inshallah I get PPR with no troubles (regarding pp number) . bakhaire az e doore khalas shawem hamay ma bedone janjal. Ameen.

OMG GUYS SO IM AN OCT 2O13 APPLICANT AND TODAY I CHECKED MY ECAS AND IT CHANGED TO IN PROCESS....this is good news right??? what does it mean and how much longer am i looking at until my hubby can join me in canada??? AHHH so happy, God is too kind. Alhamdulillah

No i havent recieved anything thats why im confused lol...no email, nothing. so does this mean i will be getting a remed soon now? however my medical shouldnt expire until this oct 2013 so i dont see why they would send me a remed...can anyone explain?

I THINK: If your meds are expiring in October it's very likely you will get visa before October thia year inshAllah
