I had the same issue when I had received an email for remed and I try to open the attachment from my iphone the forms wasn't filled up but when I opened the attachments on my computer it was already filled up with my wife's name and file number, so I am pretty sure it's just the pdf reader problem and also u don't have to fill anything just tell your spouse to take 4 pics her tazkira or passport and the remed form which was emailed to u guys. Also in kabul most of the photographers photoshop the photos jut tell them to leave it natural and also if they r wearing any color lenses tell them to take it off. Also the doctor in Kabul will fill the rest of the forms for her and the doctor will send the reports to New Delhi and their fees is $329 US. Hope that helped.

This is correct. Except I'd day take both taskira and passport. They will prefer to use your wife's passport. yes everything should be filled out, tell ur wife to print it and take it with her. call ahead of time before you go. and then in a couple weeks after he will send email confirmation that he sent it to CIC.

I think the doctor takes e-pictures now. He asked my husband not to bring any pictures and when he got there he snapped his pics on his computer and sent the receipt to us the next day with the pic. But I guess its always good to take it just in case. Good luck Nick!!

Walekum Asalam Nick brother jaan, I think it will be better if u just send it from your pc also if you are using viber skype or any other app to chat with your spouse tell them when they print the form to just send a photo of the forms so u can take a look at it and if u want u can call them and get an appointment below is the contact number for them and Inshallah Bakhair after couple of weeks your ecas will change to In Process and then Decision Made. Then don't forget to invite us for the party just joking.

I had send an email to New Delhi on April 2014 for any updates on my case and after couple of weeks I received an email for remed and ecas changed to In Process after doing remed then Ecas changed to Decision Made and which it says that the Visa office will reply back to us about Decision Made.

But today I got an email from New Delhi office after reading this I got really confused has anyone else got anything like this also when I send an email to them I had included all the information except my wife's Afghani passport. My question is if they don't have any information about my case on their file then how did we received a remed from their office. Here is what they send me and I am sorry I wrote too much.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Based on the information you have provided, we have not been able to find any record of an application in our client database, kindly include the applicant's full name, date of birth, passport number and file number in your message to facilitate us looking for your records.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Yamayama congratulations on decision made. Based on all these random responses from NDVO, ignore the email you received and the email you sent wasn't a reason for the ecas change. Don't let the email to confuse you, just follow up with your remed and ecas changed. Bakhair Khabari Khosh bare hama Afghan ha beya ya.

salaam dear sister jan thank you for ur info but I called the doctor in Kabul he said she has to bring her pic and the cost is $329 us , all the chick up ll be done in same place or she has to go for X-ray to other hospital? Coz last time when I was in Kabul I was with my spouse and we had to go for X-ray to sinamah baharstan there was a private hospital for X-ray and than for blood test another doctor office and we got the received and we bring it back to IOM office in shahrinow is it gonna be the same proses or all ll be done in one place ?

Salam Javed jaan, you are right cause even when I called cic helpline that's what they told me to ignore it or they said if you want just send them an email about all the information and also attach a copy of remed that we received from NDVO, but they said it's not a big deal.

Yes u r right the moment they finsh in sharnow clinic then u have to go to the different places for more test like x-rays etc and then u take all the reports to shahrnow office.

Usually when in process they are about to ask or have already asked for something. if you haven't done remed and your medical has or is close to expiry, then they will ask for that. with new delhi your ecas will say decision made WAY BEFORE they ask for passport.

hmm... check your junk mail for any mails
check your spouse's email (they send the applicant the remed)
if nothing, call your MP because if it is in process you'd want to know whats up. usually they ask for something. yours was in process a week before mine. do get this checked so you don't miss out on anything. be certain! good luck ! Inshallah arche khaire basha . Ameen.
