have you ordered ur notes or done mp inquiry? it sucks that we are so close yet so far from ppr it feels like forever-wrst part is we cant do anything its not in our control

I did MP enquiry. no updates. but today i checked and my background check has been started. Is it a good thing? for Indians it takes about 2 weeks. But for us????????????

Wow 2016 applicants are so lucky. Their applications are being processed so much faster than us 2015 applicants. Happy for you guys.
My husbands background check has been going on for more than 9months. No help from MP or anyone. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!

No he doesn't have a long travel history. Only 1 visit outside of country which was just before we got married and was explained in the forms. I applied in sept 2015. No interview shokor. I just don't know what's taking so long for the background check. MP can't help cuz they say it's an international investigation and they are not allowed to interfere with the process.
I see you applied in mar 2015. Omg yours has been even longer. What happened?

I'm 2014 applicant and still waiting for this bull$it visa to come through. Our background check is in progress for 4 months now this is seriously stupid, our daughter is 2 now and still they don't care

ur mp sucks u should try a different mp they should not say that max background check takes is 6 months for afghans unless theres some issues with security ...what was the other country that he visted ? ...i appled in nov 2015- we had interview jan 2017 and now still waiting for background

He visited Europe. Maybe because he lived in Pak for a while but that was long ago.
Yes I did go to another MP and they refused to help because I don't live in that city and because I have already contacted my local MP. I know it makes no sense.

good luck our interview was easy 5 questions we hired interputor for my hubby- u should too they help give u tips and be confident take lots of evidence with u

Do you know when they request the passport, how you can send your passport from AFG to India? Does he have to go there? Cuz I don't think you're allowed to send by mail.

Visa is issued in Pakistan not India
