Salam Nick my bro,

I see what you're saying and you're probably right. The thing is, someone in Afg is ready to go to New Delhi next week and submit my wife's passport to the CVAC directly (then they have to send the pp to ND Visa Office to issue the visa). Even though this way will be more expensive, it will probably be easy and quick, right?

Also the PPR email stated that someone can go and pick up the passport/visa at the CVAC, so we don't need to state an address in New Delhi.

But Nick, I'll definitely mention what you said to my people. Thanksssss

Pleaseee let us know what happens regarding how and where you're going to submit the passports. It will clarify a lot of concerns!

w/salaam dear Saheed brother : if somone is ready to go to and submitte pp in New Delhi is the best idea bro I agree with u in this point this way u ll save lots of time and what i said is experience from a friend of mine he got his visa through Islamabad in 2 weeks wish u good luck bro , I have a question brother do u see any change in ur spouse's ecase like adding her home address before u get ppr coz in my case when I sign in as my spouse's file No I saw they add her home address too so I am wondering if u see anything like that before getting ppr? last question is... do u get ppr first or DM in ur ecase thank you

I checked the ecase right after I got the PPR email and it was DM, so it came like at the same time. My wife's address was there even before the PPR.

It happened to my case to that they updated the home address... My wife medical experied, i guess that i will ask to redo and submit before they ask again...

In my opinion it's more of a change in their website format, rather than status update because my husband's mailing address was always there, but now they've added a "home address". When it's time for PPR, they will change the Kabul address to sponsor's address in Canada

In my online application status they are added the afghanistan adress too .
I think that in all application they are added the afg adress too ! And its not about the time of ppr !

Sorry to burst your bubble but I believe CIC in New Delhi are still working on July 2014 applications. It might take 4-5 month before you can see anything in process.

today I got an other email with attached PPR request for Islamabad and dated March 09, so I assured that I am definitely asked to send passport to Islamabad so I did not called my MP today as I recieved the new email early morning.
I also when checked my online status, my husband home address was added and status was changed to DM.
My husband has applied for Pakistan Visa and after getting visa will go next week to Islamabad to submit his Passport in person by himself as directed in PPR letter and the linked given for Islamabad.

I wish every one who is waiting a speedy visa with its KHIAR khater hama ra khuda jan zood jam kona !

I got an email today too (March 9) for the PP Request to Islamabad. Nick_Afg was right after all. So my wife's passport is going to there. It just wastes more time for us because we have to wait longer for no reason. But ba khairi ma ast Khuda Jan mehraban ast.

Effective 1 July 2014, applications received at CIC VAC from the Canadian High Commission can only be collected by the applicant or an immediate family member (spouse, parent or child over the age of 18).

Does application also include passport as well? And it doesn't say the applicant's brother/sibling, who wants to take my wife's passport, can do so, only spouse, parent, child.

I just hope there is no problem if my wife's brother submits the passport on her behalf in Peshawar VAC.

Yes they can your wife has to write a letter of autoraziation and apoint him to sumnmit and collect her passport on her behalf

CNIC is an identity card for Pakistani nationals. I guess for Afghans it's the Tazkira they have to bring with them.
I'm not sure what ICR receipt is...probably the email from CIC? I could be wrong...​

Most probably Islamabad; if you got an email to submit it to NDVO, I would ask the local MP to send them an e-mail, like one of the members here did. Double check to make sure so you don't waste any time.
