I am a Canadian citizen. My partner is a Jamaican citizen. We want to get married and have him and his son migrate to Canada. He is a farm worker comes to Canada from April to November. If we marry in Jamaica, can he still come on the program? Our intention would be to marry there so his family can participate in our ceremony and then file paper work for sponsorship once he is back in Canada. Any advice is appreciated.

I'm not sure about the details so get a second opinion, but I know on the application they asked for documentation of marriage, photos of wedding, and information about where and when it happened and who was there.
